MR US Polled Quicksilver 999/4 is a ready-to-breed, stylish, thick-made bull coming two years old who has passed his BSE and is ready to go to work. This young herd sire is simply STRIKING! From the time Quicksilver hit the ground, Salinas Ranch knew he had the potential to be special. It may seem unusual to describe a masculine bull as beautiful—but that is exactly how they describe him.

Quicksilver is long bodied, heavy boned, and masculine, with an impressive hump and tremendous breed character. But perhaps his coolest feature is his outstanding black and silver pigmentation, giving him tremendous versatility as a herd sire. Whether used on Gray or Red Brahman females, Quicksilver offers breeders an exciting genetic option.

His pedigree combines two of the most important Brahmans in the Salinas Ranch program. Quicksilver is sired by MR US Polled Evolution 409/5 (P), a bull whose influence can be found in progeny around the world. Salinas Ranch believes Quicksilver may be the best Evolution son they have raised.

His dam, MS US Polled Cassidy 750, is a beautiful, heavily pigmented, deep-bodied female and a cornerstone of the Salinas Ranch program. Cassidy first turned heads as a heifer when she graced the cover of The Brahman Journal, but there is much more to her than good looks.

Cassidy comes from one of the ranch's most productive cow families. She has proven herself both as a donor producing high-quality embryo calves and as a natural producer, recording four natural calves by just 6½ years of age. At Salinas Ranch, donor status doesn't replace productivity—their donors are expected to produce natural calves, too.
