DESCRIPTION:  MS US Polled Teagan 117/6 (P) is a long, level, structurally correct show heifer prospect with beautiful lines and a sweet personality. Genetically, she combines many of the breeding pieces that have helped Salinas Ranch build its progressive polled program.

Teagan is a walking testament to a Salinas Ranch breeding program that isn't afraid to color outside the lines, creating unique genetic combinations designed to propel a breeder's program forward.

Her sire is MR US Polled Vision 945/3 (P), an exciting young herd sire whose name is no accident. Vision represents exactly what Salinas Ranch is working to produce in its polled cattle: moderate, fertile, docile, easy-fleshing, low-maintenance cattle that produce vigorous calves that are quickly up and nursing.

Teagan's dam, MS US Polled Raven 959/3 (P), is a first-calf heifer sired by MR US Polled Didor 661/7 (S), a son of the great Vanguard bull (+)JJ Didor Crata 389. In fact, (+)JJ Didor Crata 389 appears twice in Teagan's pedigree, adding another layer of proven genetics.

There is also tremendous cow power behind this young female. Raven is out of MS US Kimberly Manso 802/1 (S), a female Salinas Ranch describes as a "WOW cow."
