DESCRIPTION:  Halter Broke Show Heifer

WOW! Salinas Ranch had a hard time deciding between numbering their sale lots which would be Lot 1 and which would be Lot 2. They said it was incredibly tough because they believe this heifer is that exceptional. She and Lot 1 are extremely special.

MS US Polled Savannah 65/5 (P) is an exceptionally long, feminine, thick-made female with a big, powerful top. She combines eye appeal and correctness with a beautiful polled head, attractive muzzle, and plenty of Brahman breed character.

Savannah is halter broke and ready to hit the road! The hard work is done—take this competitive show heifer home and start collecting banners.

Savannah is sired by BRC Brick House 180 (P), a royally bred bull combining Reserve International Champion +MR V8 191/7 with National Champion MISS V8 100/7 (P). BRC Brick House 180 (P) was purchased from Brandon and Rachel Cutrer as an eight-month-old calf to add genetic diversity to the US Polled Brahman program. His influence has also reached internationally, with semen rights sold to PB Fenech and Tony Olsen in Australia.

On the maternal side, Savannah traces to D7 MISS POLLED NIKITA (P), a daughter of arguably one of the most influential polled bulls in the Brahman breed, +MR V8 279/7 (P). Her pedigree also includes LMC LF POLLED CHANNEL, backed by LMC LN POLLED PAPPO 136/6 (P) and Reserve International Champion +LMC POLLED PASSION 55/4 (P).

What an outstanding pedigree backing an equally impressive female!

As Ryan Salinas has said, “Just look at the style, flashiness, and correctness she brings to the table. Long as a freight train is the phrase we use to describe this one!

It comes as no surprise that Savannah is sired by the freakishly long-bodied BRC Brick House 180 (P). We purchased Brick House from Brandon and Rachel Cutrer, and he has developed into quite a bull while producing some outstanding calves for us.

On the bottom side, Savannah is out of a beautiful +MR V8 279/7 (P) daughter. The Brick House × 279 combination is one we have used several times, and it has been a home run every time, with several females from this mating retained in our herd.”

Savannah sells halter broke, ready to go, and with one this good, expect to be collecting ribbons and trophies in no time!
