At the time, we quietly collected CCS semen and chose to release only a limited number of domestic units each year. This approach was rooted in our deep respect for the breeders that developed Rhineaux Genetics; our friends at Circle T Cattle Company, the Troy Thibodeaux family. Over the past decade, CT Lady Rhineaux Ray 8/9 has become a household name and a genetic icon; arguably the most influential Brahman female in breed history. Her legacy continues through standout offspring such as a few of our donors to include CT Lady Pasco Rhineaux 1/13, CT Lady Lacey Rhineaux 1/13, CT MS Polled Rhineaux 20/6, CT Lady Elmeaux Rhineaux 4/7, each playing an important role in breed enhancement. MR. ROJO RHINO 944/1: Years after the Thibodeaux family elevated Rhineaux Genetics to National prominence, we went out to find flush mates to the legendary CT Lady Rhineaux Ray 8/9. During a lengthy process, we were able to acquire two full sisters, and her only flush mate brother: Mr. ROJO RHINO 944/1 a.k.a. ROJO. As a young calf, with tremendous promise, Mr. ROJO RHINO 944/1 earned success in the show ring. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, his career was cut short, far too early. Those of us in this industry understand that there are many exceptional animals that never get the opportunity to achieve greatness. While there are many factors, the most widespread reason is because of the significant time and substantial costs associated with campaigning and promoting these cattle. Following our acquisition of ROJO, we made the decision to collect CCS semen and store it for the future. On a very limited basis, we offered a few units domestically. And, we have sold some internationally. Then, shortly thereafter, we lost Rojo in a severe lightning storm. Sadly, and without much forethought, we only have one picture of ROJO, taken just weeks before that tragic incident. Sired by renowned +Mr. H Red Rhino 765 (produced by Judd Cullers of Heritage Cattle Company), a former International Grand Champion, Mr. ROJO RHINO 944/1 brings an elite combination of pedigree, performance, presence, and breed history.
