LM Trinity Manso 5/01 was our resident low birth weight “heifer bull.” He was the bun in the oven of a $40,000 high-selling International Sale lot consigned by Hudgins’ Cloverleaf Division. He had an actual birth weight of 55 pounds, and he passed that along to his progeny. I don’t care what elephant you breed him to; those babies will be small. With 82 head measured, Trinity averaged a 64-pound birth weight with a 543-pound weaning weight on real scales (including bulls and heifers). We offered all our junior buyers a straw of his semen or the opportunity to bring their animals back for live coverage because we knew that his calves were ALWAYS EASY — as in low birth weight and lots of vigor.
His pedigree is super cool — JDH Gates x JDH Lawford x JDH Woodman! He is a good outcross bull for a lot of popular bloodlines. Trinity has an uber clean underline and pigment in all the right places. His EPDs are fantastic — ranking in the top 25% of the breed for 7 traits — including top 10% for marbling and calving ease. One of his daughters won Carcass Champion Female at Sexing Tech’s 2024 World Brahman Championship Series Performance Test.
Each straw includes one AI cert. More can be purchased for $25 each. It will be released from Bovine Elite in College Station, TX. This is a tank clean out so when we are sold out, that’s it.
