JDH MR MANSO 663 combines eye appeal and classic J.D. Hudgins genetics. His pedigree includes legendary JDH sires Madison, Charley’s Jazz and Atlas, as well as +JDH Lady Manso 251/9 and +JDH Lady Manso 286/4. We purchased him, along with a group of his elite daughters, during the Kara Farms dispersal. His sire is the National Calf Champion and TJBA Grand Champion JDH Mr. Manso 779/4. His dam is a proven donor for J.D. Hudgins Forgason Cattle Company, and she was the 2004 International Reserve Grand Champion Gray Female. He is a good outcross bull for a lot of popular bloodlines.
He did a phenomenal job for us in the pasture and through AI. His progeny caught the eye of people visiting the ranch. We sold one of his fancy bull calves to Bangladesh. His offspring featured early fertility for Brahmans, and his bull calves routinely passed their BSE at 16–17 months — with some as early as 15. One of his daughters won Average Daily Gain Champion Female at Sexing Tech’s 2024 World Brahman Championship Series Performance Test.
Each straw includes one AI cert. More can be purchased for $25 each. It will be released from Bovine Elite. This is a tank clean out so when we are sold out, that’s it.
