Description: Lori Darlin is a ranch favorite! She is a well-balanced heifer with lots of muscle and great feet and legs. She is sired by our herd sire Mr +S Grant Manso 461 (a JDH SIR FORREST MANSO 159/6 son). Grant had a great show career on the Schneider Brahmans string and has done a knock-out job in our pasture. He was Reserve Grand Champion at the Hunt County Fair and garnered several division titles and lots of class wins at various shows. His sire, JDH SIR FORREST MANSO, is a proven performance bull that is in the top half of the breed for 11 of the 13 measured traits, being in the top 10% of the breed for 5 of them.

Her dam, Miss Kallion 155, is a half-sibling to Sexing Technologies’ top AI sire Mr Kallion 1352. They are both sired by MR MENDEL DE KALLION 436 and on the maternal side both go back to the same donor cow family – Miss Algodon 204 (linking to her donor page on Kallion's website because even at 15 she looks awesome and is productive!) In terms of conformation and productivity, 204 is one of my favorite cow families in the Kallion Farms breeding program. She is long, deep and smooth with a perfect udder and good legs. Miss Kallion 155 scanned at a 4.55 %IMF and we expect Lori Darlin to scan well too!
